| My interest in natural therapies began while I was a member of the Australian Trampolining team in my early teens. The personal experience of being an elite sportsperson has given me the background and foundations of being able to relate to the demands we place on out bodies as a whole, whether it be as a sportsperson or as a person interested in maintaining general wellbeing and flexibility. It is my intention to give people direction in any area they wish to pursue in regards to their health and wellbeing. Using the modalities of Massage, Acu-pressure, Positive Bowen Therapy, Reiki and Focus, I found that I am able to meet the requirements needed to live a positive, productive lifestyle. |

Hi, my name is Leesa. |
| I
have been a qualified Naturopath for 7 years and a Positive Bowen Therapist
for 2 ½ years. My passsion for Naturopathy began quite by accident
– I was 19 years old and working on a tropical island off Cairns.
I suffered with Eczema from head-to-toe for two years and had just bought
a bottle of Liquid Chlorophyll (the green substance in plants), after
just 2 or 3 days the eczema had almost completely disappeared, what a
relief! Also, I remember a few years previously my Mother feeding both
my sister and I a Comfrey leaf on our cereal every morning. It didn't
taste too great but my adolescent skin seemed clearer and my asthma less
frequent. My passion for Positive Bowen Therapy started when I began working
at the Positive Life Store. I heard so many of our client's feedback of
their outstanding results achieved from receiving treatment. How their
pain was significantly decreased or gone, how they stopped taking pain
killers, how they could walk better or didn't need that shoulder operation
anymore, the list goes on and on. I was so inspired I decided to learn
the technique myself. I absolutely love Bowen, as a Naturopath it is a
wonderful complementary tool that produces quite magical results and impacts
people on a profound level. My other passions are empowering people to
feel better generally and the Positive Life Store. I feel very fortunate
to be part of a team of practitioners here who are generosity personified
and care so much for our clients, with an atmosphere that is friendly,
relaxed and fun but still professional. So come on down and check it out! |
